Fillers - Radiesse
Table of contents:
How do Radiesse fillers work?
Radiesse is a non-permanent injectable filler based on calcium hydroxylapatite that stimulates the skin to produce collagen. This collagen stimulation helps to restore facial volume, softens the deeper wrinkles in the face and provides a visible improvement in skin quality. The lifting and firming effect on the skin is immediately visible.
When Radiesse is injected, the calcium-containing microspheres and gel of the product ensure that the volume is immediately restored and that the treatment area immediately gets the lift it needs to counteract the signs of aging. The gel and the microspheres are completely broken down by the body over time.
Procedure
The inconvenience is usually minimal and of short duration. The whole procedure takes about 20 minutes.
Complications
The side effects of filler injections are insignificant, provided that an experienced doctor performs them.
How long will the results last?
Depending on the location in the body, the effect of treatment with Radiesse remains perceptible for nine to eighteen months.
